Our members raise crops, livestock, nursery stock, dairy products, forest products, make cheese, maple syrup and more. They also provide services for other large and small farmers. You can find many of their products and services through the pages listed under the “Our Members” tab.
There are no geographic restrictions for membership. To be considered you must be engaged in an agricultural pursuit. Our definition of agriculture is: Farming or agriculture shall include farming in all of its branches and the cultivation and tillage of the soil; dairying; the production, cultivation, growing and harvesting of any agricultural, aquacultural, floricultural, or horticultural commodities; the growing and harvesting of forest products upon forest land; and the keeping and raising of poultry, swine, cattle, sheep, horses and other domesticated animal used for food or fiber purposes, bees, or fur-bearing animals as a commercial enterprise. The nine-member Board of Directors reviews and approves applications on a monthly basis.
